Service Terms and Conditions

Safari For Six – Trade Partner Cancellation, Refund & Child Policy
(Applicable to Travel Agents, Tour Operators & DMCs)
Aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and Global Tourism Best
Practices
This policy forms an integral part of the Trade Partner Agreement between Safari For Six (“the
Operator”) and the appointed Travel Agent, Tour Operator, or DMC (“the Agent”).
1. Scope & Application
1.1 This policy applies to all bookings made by trade partners on behalf of their clients with
Safari For Six.
1.2 The Agent is responsible for communicating these terms in full to the end client prior to
confirmation.
1.3 Safari For Six shall not be held liable for disputes arising from the Agent’s failure to disclose
these terms accurately.
2. Cancellation Terms – Individual Bookings (1 to 3 Guests)
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the Agent. Refunds, where applicable, will be
processed to the Agent only, not directly to the end client.
*More than 30 days prior to arrival:
90% refund of the total booking value (5% administrative fee retained)
*15 to 30 days prior to arrival:
50% refund of the total booking value
*7 to 14 days prior to arrival:
25% refund of the total booking value
*Less than 7 days prior to arrival or no-show:
No refund applicable
3. Cancellation Terms – Group Bookings (4 or More Guests)
Due to the increased operational, staffing, and vehicle commitments required for group
bookings, the following cancellation terms apply:
*More than 45 days prior to arrival:
90% refund (10% administrative fee retained)
*21 to 44 days prior to arrival:
50% refund of the total booking value
*7 to 20 days prior to arrival:
25% refund of the total booking value
*Less than 7 days prior to arrival or no-show:
No refund applicable
4. Booking Amendments (Trade Bookings)
4.1 Amendment requests must be submitted in writing by the Agent.
4.2 Amendments requested more than 21 days prior to arrival may be accommodated free of
charge, subject to availability.
4.3 Amendments requested within 14 days of arrival may:
* Incur additional costs due to third-party provider policies, or
* Be treated as a cancellation under the applicable cancellation terms.
4.4 Where amendment requests cannot be accommodated, the cancellation policy shall apply
in full.
5. Adverse Weather, Park Closures & Force Majeure
5.1 All tours operate subject to weather conditions and official safety directives issued by
recognised park and tourism authorities.
5.2 In the event of park closures, severe weather, or conditions deemed unsafe, Safari For Six
will, at its discretion:
* Offer an alternative experience or reschedule the service at no additional cost, or
* Refund the affected portion of the booking, less a 5% administrative fee
5.3 Safari For Six shall not be liable for consequential losses, accommodation costs, or onward
travel arrangements.
6. Health, Medical & COVID-Related Cancellations
6.1 Cancellations due to medical emergencies, government travel restrictions, or pandemic related matters will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
6.2 Supporting documentation may be requested.
6.3 Safari For Six strongly recommends that Agents ensure clients obtain comprehensive travel
insurance covering medical, pandemic, and cancellation events.
7. Refund Process (Trade Bookings)
7.1 All approved refunds will be processed within 21 working days.
7.2 Refunds will be issued to the Agent only, using the original payment method.
7.3 Banking fees, international transfer charges, currency conversion costs, and nonrefundable third-party charges will be deducted prior to refund.
7.4 Commission earned is non-refundable once services have been confirmed, unless
otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Child Policy – Trade Bookings
8.1 Safari For Six welcomes children of all ages; however, specific operational conditions apply
and must be clearly communicated by the Agent to the client.
Children Under 4 Years
* Children under the age of 4 years require a private safari vehicle booking
* Children under 4 years may not be transported from St Lucia in the open safari vehicle
* Families travelling with children under 4 years must follow the safari vehicle from St Lucia to
the park in their own vehicle, transferring to the open safari vehicle at the park gate
8.2 Failure by the Agent to disclose these conditions may result in denial of service without
refund.
Private Vehicle Requirement
Private safari bookings provide families with young children greater flexibility, comfort, and
compliance with safety and conservation regulations.
9. Agent Responsibility & Indemnity
9.1 The Agent confirms that:
* All terms herein have been disclosed to the end client
* Client expectations have been managed accordingly
9.2 Safari For Six shall not be liable for:
* Misrepresentation by the Agent
* Failure to disclose child, cancellation, or amendment conditions
* Client dissatisfaction arising from undisclosed operational requirements
10. CPA Compliance
Nothing in this policy limits or waives a consumer’s rights under the South African Consumer
Protection Act, where applicable.Where a booking qualifies as a juristic person transaction
under the CPA, these terms shall apply in full.
11. Communication & Notices
All trade cancellations, amendments, and refund requests must be submitted in writing

By confirming a booking with Safari For Six, the Agent acknowledges acceptance of this Trade
Partner Cancellation, Refund & Child Policy.
